Digging Drainage Line
Our crews use a variety of tools and alot of muscle to dig into basement floors. They work through tight conditions, but always take the time to care for any equipment or belongings in the construction area.
Installing Drainage Pipe
The drainage line is being laid into the ditch. This has to be perfectly pitched over the entire length of the house to make sure that the water will run in the proper direction out of the house.
Placing Drainage Stone
Here the drainage stone is being laid in the gaps and will help guide the water to the drain by creating a path of least resistance for the water to travel. The gravel also holds the pipe securely in place.
Installing FlowGuard Product
Next, the FlowGuard itself is installed. Normally this will be installed along the perimeter of the wall. In this case, the oil tank needed to be undisturbed, so the WaterGuard system is being installed around it.
Pouring Cement
After the FlowGuard is perfectly installed, our crew mixes cement by hand to fill in the voids.
Smoothing New Concrete
Lastly, the newly poured concrete is leveled out and there is a smooth transition between the new and old cement. We make sure it looks like we were never there!
