The Classic Bucket Pump
This homemade furnished system usually includes a standard water pump and a bucket with holes in its sides. This will not keep your basement dry.
The Classic Trench Pump
In this low-quality, usually unskilled contractor created, is useless. This system of trenches do not work because water will permeate many of these materials and it does not apply to the entire basement.

This pump is sitting above ground level and thus will never pump out all the water in the basement. The Water pump must be implanted into the ground to be viable.

This classic pvc pipe extension connected to a water pump does not work efficiently to pump all the water in the basement.
