Photo Album: Lifting a Pool Concrete Deck with PolyLevel foam
This homeowner was experience a problem with the concrete around the pool sinking. To fix this problem out team drills 5/8ths holes and places an injection port into the concrete. This allows the Polylevel foam to spread out and find the voids under the concrete and compress the soil. Once the voids are filled the Foam is able to lift the conrete and raise the slab and correct the ptich of the Concrete. By using Polylevel the team was able to raise the concrete and remove all the tripping hazards caused by the sinking concrete. After rasing the concrete the next step was to apply nexus pro to seal the exposed expansion joints, and around the coping stones. This prevents any water to pentrate beneath the slab and casue soil erosion.
Polylevel Injection
Polylevel foam being injected beneath the slab to raise and level the concrete.
Checking the level
The slab needed a pitch to the drain to move the water away from the pool
All done
The concrete has been injected, raised and leveled.
