Cleanspace
CleanSpace is a moisture barrier that prevents water from seeping through the wall into the basement. The CleanSpace also helps reflect light and brighten up your basement.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace
CleanSpace must be placed directly on the wall with nothing in-between the wall and the CleanSpace. Once the water seeps through the wall it runs behind the CleanSpace and into the WaterGuard system. The WaterGuard is a labor intensive process to install. First in order to install it inside the house the floor of the basement must be jackhammered. Once that is complete the debris and about a foot of dirt must be dug out and hauled away. Next, crushed blue stone and The WaterGuard are installed to help transfer the water that seeps through the floor and walls into a basin. Once, it reaches the basin it is either sent out of the house using a gravity fed system or a Sump Pump.
