Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: GeoLock Anchor system moves a wall in Hopewell Junction, NY

We recieved a phone call from a homeowner asking if we cold move their retaining wall back three inches and ensure that it would not move again. In order to accomplish this task we installed a GeoLock anchor system to pull the wall back to where it oringally sat. We also installed a drainage pipe with gravel to allow water to flow behind the wall without any erosion.

Before

Here you can see the retaining wall is flush with the foundation wall.

Step 1

First we dig holes behind the wall where we are going to anchor the support plates. Second, we drill holes through the wall.

Step 2

After we have the hole in the wall we ram the rods through the wall and into the holes we dug.

Here you can see the wall moved over 3 inches prior to our arrival. With the GeoLock anchor system we will pull the wall back to the way it was before erosion moved the wall.
