This homeowner contacted Basement Systems of New York to help remediate the water that was coming into their crawl space. At the time of contacting us they did not know where the water was coming from, all they knew for sure was that their 3' high walls were continuously wet.

In order to remediate the issues that they were having, we ended up installing a few different systems, as they needed a more encompassed system due to the severity of the water coming in. We ultimately ended up installing in their crawl space our CleanSpace encapsulation system to make sure that both any and all water or humidity was caught and kept away from their crawl space. Along with this we as well installed our SmartPipe system around the perimeter of their crawl space which leads to our SmartSump pump so that any water that is caught by our CleanSpace is directed directly to the sump pump and out of their crawl space. Finally, we installed our BasementAire dehumidifier to make sure that humidity and that mildew smell they were having are kept out of both their crawl space and home.

After installation of these systems our client was so happy that we were able to bring back peace of mind to them. 

Many different issues arise due to the settlement of a foundation, this homeowner was specifically experiencing cracks in their concrete, with this they were having water coming up through the cracks. 

The reason this occurs is because of hydrostatic pressure pushing water up from the surface of the earth, which allows for it to protrude up through any cracks. 

To repair their concrete we had to hand dig under the deck to expose the leaking cracks, we then pumped polyurethane crack injection into cracks both in the front and back of the home and finally we backfilled the dirt back into the areas that we had dug up.

By doing this we were able to bring their concrete back to its former glory, as well we were able to remediate the water problem at hand. 

Many people don't realize that when they go to sell their home that many people will either ask for a better deal, or even walk away due to water, foundation or any other isssues that can occur due to not waterproofing a basement or crawl space. In this instance this homeowner was smart 

To make sure that the water problem at hand was resolved we needed to install our WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system along with a TripleSafe sump pump system 

After installing these systems the homeowner was able to sell her home and reap the benefits of her sale because she had waterproofed her basement. 

Nine times out of ten we recommend installing a full waterproofing system, and not just a partial one. We all know that sometimes that is not the case either due to budget restrictions or due to the severity of the issue at hand. This job specifically required us to only waterproof one wall in our clients' basement due to the small severity of the issue he was having.

Their home had water coming in from the wall-floor joints, as well as wall cracks, which were draining water out onto the floor of his basement. to remediate the issue at had we installed our patented WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system along with our SuperSump pump system and WaterWatch alarm system. These two systems were then tied directly into a discharge line that ran from their basement to outside.

By implementing this partial system we were able to help the affected areas and remove the water issue that they were having, which allowed for them to get a good night's sleep and not worry about flooding occurring ever again.

Basement Systems came to the rescue of this homeowner's wet and uncomfortable basement. Two things that they realized when they contacted us was that they had an issue with water penetrating their basement, as well it was not comfortable at all due to the dampness and lack of insulation.

Because of these factors to fix their problems we installed our SaniDry XP with condensate pumps and installed R-20 spray foam insulation in their basement. these two products' in conjunction with one another would and did help remove the water problems they were having, as well as the uncomfortableness and dampness that they were experiencing. 

After installing these two products they noticed a world of difference, for them it was like night and day. They had wished that they had done this sooner than later. 

Everyone is worried about water penetrating their home and causing a headache, whether it be with water all over their floor, flooding or even affecting your foundation. This client was specifically worried about keeping water out of his home to prevent any more damage than what had already occurred, as well as lowering his radon levels. 

Because of these two unique issues at hand, we had to install two different systems that worked indirectly of each other. The first was our ERV system, which would reduce the levels of radon they were seeing in their home from where they were to safe levels that would allow them to not have to worry about the noble gas creeping into their home. Secondly, we needed to install our waterproofing system, which entailed our patented WaterGuard system with CleanSpace along the walls, which would be directed to our SuperSump. These three different products would work together to make sure that any water or moisture that would come through on the walls would be captured behind the CleanSpace, then directed to our WaterGuard a below floor waterproofing system and then finally to the Supersump and out of their home.

The solutions that we proposed and installed for this situation have taken care of the radon levels and lowered them to where the homeowner wanted to see them, as well they are not worrying about a damp and moist area any more thanks to our multi-tiered system.
