This homeowner contacted us to address a common issue – a sunken and settled patio due to years of soil erosion. The problem affected both the front and back portions of the patio.
To tackle this challenge, we employed our advanced solution. First, we drilled precise 5/8th pilot holes in the front section of the patio. Then, we injected our commercial-grade spray foam PolyLevel, raising the patio to an even and safe level.
Moving to the backside, we repeated the process, using PolyLevel to raise the sunken areas, focusing on making it as even as possible. This not only resolved tripping hazards but also transformed the patio's appearance, as the backside had experienced more significant deterioration.
Once both the front and back were properly raised to their ideal levels, we applied our NexusPro caulking system. This step ensured a seamless and polished finish to the repaired areas.
The homeowner couldn't be happier with the results. Not only are the tripping hazards a thing of the past, but the once-unsightly patio has been beautifully restored. We take pride in delivering solutions that enhance both safety and aesthetics for our valued customers.
The homeowner was concerned about dampness and moisture issues. Our crews installed Basement System's WaterGuard sytem to make sure everything is safe and dry, Our crew also poured an entire new floor because the old floor was in such bad shape.
The old wooden floor had rotted away. Now with the new concrete floor, the owners hope to use this as a living space!
Upon purchasing this commercial property, the new owner was faced with a major issue - water penetrating the building. The culprit? The pitch of the land the building was constructed on, which sloped towards the structure, compounded by the fact that it was built near a swamp. Despite having three sump pumps in place, they proved insufficient to handle the amount of water infiltration, resulting in frequent basement flooding.
To resolve the water infiltration issue, we began by removing the old baseboards and step footings to create a trench around the basement perimeter. Using jackhammers, we prepared the trench for our waterproofing system and cleared away any debris. Our solution included installing the SuperSump Plus sump pump system, with gravel and perforated pipe running through the trench and connected to the sump pump. We also installed drain mat where the curb used to be, ensuring that any water would be directed into our waterproofing system. In addition to these systems, we utilized our patented FlowGuard system along the perimeter of the basement. Finally, we applied concrete over the entire system to give it a seamless appearance. To complete the project, we installed the Basementaire dehumidifier and connected the condensate pump to the sump basin, creating a set-and-forget system. Our team left the property clean and free of debris.
Thanks to our project, the owner was able to open their business and utilize the basement for storage without worry of water infiltration. They can now have peace of mind knowing that their building is protected from water damage.
This homeowner contacted us with significant structural issues in their crawl space, including a deteriorated and unsupported wall, inadequate reinforcement, and a deepened but unsecured crawl space. To address these concerns effectively, we implemented a comprehensive solution. Firstly, we installed a sturdy central beam in the crawl space, providing crucial support for the formwork. This step ensured the stability and strength of the structure, laying the foundation for the subsequent repairs.
Next, we carefully poured concrete around the edges of the crawl space. This reinforced the perimeter, enhancing its overall stability and preventing future issues related to the weakened wall.
To further strengthen the home, we used our SmartJack system to support the existing girders properly. By strategically placing these supports, we ensured that the weight distribution was even and that the foundation adequately carried the load.
Finally, we encapsulated the crawl space using our innovative CleanSpace vapor barrier system. This advanced drain mat and vapor barrier combination created a protective barrier, effectively preventing the entry of water, moisture, humidity, and unpleasant odors. As a result, the homeowner's crawl space was now correctly sealed and insulated, significantly improving the overall air quality and eliminating the risk of damage caused by excess moisture.
Upon completion of this project, the homeowner's concerns regarding the structural integrity of their home were fully addressed. Their crawl space was transformed into a secure and sound area, free from any risks of collapse. Furthermore, the encapsulation process ensured that their home remained well-protected against water-related issues, providing a healthier living environment.
