The homeowner was concerned about dampness and moisture issues. Our crews installed Basement System's WaterGuard sytem to make sure everything is safe and dry, Our crew also poured an entire new floor because the old floor was in such bad shape.

Upon purchasing this commercial property, the new owner was faced with a major issue - water penetrating the building. The culprit? The pitch of the land the building was constructed on, which sloped towards the structure, compounded by the fact that it was built near a swamp. Despite having three sump pumps in place, they proved insufficient to handle the amount of water infiltration, resulting in frequent basement flooding.

To resolve the water infiltration issue, we began by removing the old baseboards and step footings to create a trench around the basement perimeter. Using jackhammers, we prepared the trench for our waterproofing system and cleared away any debris. Our solution included installing the SuperSump Plus sump pump system, with gravel and perforated pipe running through the trench and connected to the sump pump. We also installed drain mat where the curb used to be, ensuring that any water would be directed into our waterproofing system. In addition to these systems, we utilized our patented FlowGuard system along the perimeter of the basement. Finally, we applied concrete over the entire system to give it a seamless appearance. To complete the project, we installed the Basementaire dehumidifier and connected the condensate pump to the sump basin, creating a set-and-forget system. Our team left the property clean and free of debris.

This advanced drain mat and vapor barrier combination created a protective barrier, effectively preventing the entry of water, moisture, humidity, and unpleasant odors. As a result, the homeowner's crawl space was now properly sealed and insulated, significantly improving the overall air quality and eliminating the risk of damage caused by excess moisture.

After living in their new home for six months, these new homeowners realized that there were a few serious issues with their home. We started by jackhammering their entire concrete slab and removing it. After removing the old concrete slab, we dug down several inches to establish our area for our pre-cast footings. Once all our footing were at the proper depth we laid our pre-cast footings and installed our SmartJack foundation support systems. 

Once we installed our SmartJack systems, we moved on to cutting both our drain mat and CleanSpace to the proper dimensions before applying them to the basement walls. After completing the installation of our drain mat and CleanSpace. We then applied our PowerBraces with top lever brackets to the walls.

After applying our PowerBraces with top lever brackets we installed our WaterGuard waterproofing system around the perimeter of the basement, which we tied into our TripleSafe sump pump system with an external discharge line. Finally, we completed this project by pouring a new concrete slab.
