These homeowners purchased this home in November 2022. After purchasing, they decided to do a bunch of renovations. After living in their home for a while, they realized that they had an issue with water coming into their home. It was coming through their crawl space. When it rained, water would overflow and their crawl space and basement flooded.
Because of the issues at hand, they decided to call an experts and find out exactly what was going on in their home and how to fix the issue at hand.
Upon our Specialist inspections, he realized that to take care of the problems, we needed to attack this with a three-part system. This system is comprised of our FlowGuard waterproofing system, two separate SuperSump Plus sump pumps, and our SmarJack system for their floors and foundation.
To install the systems, we first created a trench around the perimeter of the crawl space. We then proceeded to clean it out. Once it was clean, we installed gravel and perforated piping, which we connected directly to our sump pumps. After this we applied our FlowGuard system against the walls of the crawl space. Once done, we started digging out strategic spots in their crawl space for our team to pour poured footings before installing our SmartJack systems. Finally, before leaving, we installed our Basementaire dehumidification system.
Since completing their project, these homeowners have not had to worry about cleaning up water from their two spaces after a rain storm. As well they have not noticed any nasty smells upstairs anymore. Finally, their floors are as back to level as possible. They could not be any happier with how their project turned out. They are so glad that they decided to invest in their home.
After being in their home for eight years these homeowners started to notice that they were having issues with water in their home. This home is unique in that it is a dome shape, which means that their yard has no pitch to it, but because their roof is essentially a grassy dome their pitch is on top of their home. Because of how this home was built water was able to overtime penetrate the foundation and make its way inside their home.
In order to take care of the problem at a hand, we implemented our Dual Stage System along the front right-hand side of the bedroom wall, which we attached to an 8' Lateral under-slab drainage system along the floor cracks. To complement and complete these systems we finally tied them into our SuperSump and ran 50" of discharge line to make sure that the water that did come out of their home was pumped out as far away from their home as possible so their home could continue to be nice and dry.
Since we installed our systems their home has been bone dry, and they could not be more thrilled to have peace of mind returned to them, but more importantly, they love being able to have their home back to its normal self.
The homeowner was concerned about dampness and moisture issues. Our crews installed Basement System's WaterGuard sytem to make sure everything is safe and dry, Our crew also poured an entire new floor because the old floor was in such bad shape.
The old wooden floor had rotted away. Now with the new concrete floor, the owners hope to use this as a living space!
Upon purchasing this commercial property, the new owner was faced with a major issue - water penetrating the building. The culprit? The pitch of the land the building was constructed on, which sloped towards the structure, compounded by the fact that it was built near a swamp. Despite having three sump pumps in place, they proved insufficient to handle the amount of water infiltration, resulting in frequent basement flooding.
To resolve the water infiltration issue, we began by removing the old baseboards and step footings to create a trench around the basement perimeter. Using jackhammers, we prepared the trench for our waterproofing system and cleared away any debris. Our solution included installing the SuperSump Plus sump pump system, with gravel and perforated pipe running through the trench and connected to the sump pump. We also installed drain mat where the curb used to be, ensuring that any water would be directed into our waterproofing system. In addition to these systems, we utilized our patented FlowGuard system along the perimeter of the basement. Finally, we applied concrete over the entire system to give it a seamless appearance. To complete the project, we installed the Basementaire dehumidifier and connected the condensate pump to the sump basin, creating a set-and-forget system. Our team left the property clean and free of debris.
Thanks to our project, the owner was able to open their business and utilize the basement for storage without worry of water infiltration. They can now have peace of mind knowing that their building is protected from water damage.
